TivaTiva and Lost In Company at Steamtown Showcase this Sunday

This Sunday, September 5th, two Cedar Street bands will be performing at The Steamtown Original Music Showcase in beautiful Scranton, PA.

At this year’s showcase, 45 acts from all over the eastern seaboard will be featured in 7 venues. Steamtown is also a music conference of sorts, with clinics tackling such subjects as the evolution of music distribution, internet radio, and the traveling DIY musician. Pushing an independent attitude, the showcase will also be featuring many underground promoters from the northeast area of the country as well as a special appearance from our friends at Indie On the Move. It’s only $10 for an all-access ticket to all the performances as well as the clinics. What a great deal. And the bands that are performing are no joke either.

Lost in Company will be playing at the legendary bar The Bog at 8pm.

TivaTiva will be performing at The Backyard Alehouse at 10:15pm.

Second Saturdays are coming to Cedar Street!

The Mechanicals, The LBG Project, The Beekeepers

We are now hosting a great night of music on the Second Saturday of every month, right here at Cedar Street Studios. We have a great space for performances, and have held some very successful events here in the past. It is about time we made these events a regular occurrence, and we are truly excited about all the amazing shows we will be able to bring you!

On September 11th, we are kicking off Second Saturdays with a dual CD release show for two amazing bands: The Mechanicals and The LBG Project. There will be a third band performing as well, and we will let you know who as soon as they are confirmed! Also performing will be the fabulous band known as The Beekeepers. It’s an all-ages show, and it’s BYO as well. It’s going to be a great time so you best come out ‘yall!
